The Montana Dinosaur Trail is a meaty story waiting to be told. This newly expanded, multimedia-friendly trail system connects 15 paleo-rich venues from eastern Montana to the Rocky Mountain Front near Glacier National Park. Spanning the Big Sky state, travelers (and intrepid media) can connect the dots by visiting everything from museums, to scientific field stations, to actual, hands-on dino digs. Check out “Leonardo”, the world’s best-preserved dinosaur at the Malta Field Station or the Fort Peck Interpretive Center featuring the toothy “Peck’s Rex”.” Experience the Museum of the Rockies, home to the largest collection of dinosaur fossils from the United States.
